At Fit Force, we believe that lasting health starts with building good habits—and I know that because I’ve been there. Seventeen years ago, I weighed over 140 pounds more and felt invisible despite taking up plenty of space. Back then, social media was just a whisper, and there was no clear roadmap to a healthier life. I teamed up with a nutritionist to learn how to cook wholesome meals, master portion control, and understand the basics of nutrition.
I started with simple walks that eventually evolved into running—so much so that I tackled countless half marathons and even a full one! I discovered a love for the great outdoors and the empowering challenge of weightlifting. Sure, it wasn’t all smooth sailing. I’ve faced my share of gym mockery and unkind stares on my walks. Only someone who’s wrestled with morbid obesity truly understands those moments.
Then came the breakthrough—a bootcamp experience that flipped the script and showed me that fitness could actually be fun. That was the spark that ignited my passion for coaching.
